Wild Animal Print Cakes and Cupcakes

The cupcake wraps come in a cheetah print as well as a black and white zebra print. You simply bake your cupcakes in a basic baking liner and then place the finished cupcake into the cupcake wrap.

There are many fun ways that you can create a Zebra cake for your Wild Animal Print party.

First, there is a large selection of Zebra edible cake toppers available on the market. These zebra cake toppers come in many designs and color combinations. They are very simple to apply to any home baked cake.

You can also make a zebra cake like shown in the video tutorial to the right.  Basically, you mix white cake mix and chocolate cake mix together to create a fun zebra print inside your cake.   You can tint your cake batter as well to create many other wonderful color combinations.

To make you paper cupcake topper, you can use the animal print bottle cap images I have featured here. The bottle cap images are available in lots of fun zebra, cheetah and giraffe designs. Simply attach the 1" bottle cap image to heavy cardstock and punch out using a 1 1/2" or 2" circle punch. Then attach a toothpick to your topper and insert into your finished cupcakes.

Once your cake or cupcakes are finished, you can display them on a fun cupcake or cake stand.

Laurie Gates offers two cake plates that would be perfect for your party. There is a small sized giraffe design cake plate and a medium zebra design cake plate.

These cake plates are made of high-fired ceramic earthenware and are dishwasher and microwave safe.
