M & M's are colorful, delicious and just plain fun! They are definitely one of the most popular candies out there. An M & M birthday party would make such a cute and unique birthday party theme for your child's next celebration. This party theme would be great for all ages from a 1st birthday to a Sweet Sixteen and everything in between.

M & M Table Centerpieces: Seller Kids Will Love Emoffers custom made table centerpieces. Each order comes with all five cute M & M characters. Centerpieces are made out of 1" foam and are hand painted. They stand approximately 15" from top to bottom.

M & M Stand Up Decorations: Seller Kids Will Love Em also sells custom made stand up decorations. These handmade decorations are made out of 1/4" plywood and are hand painted. Decorations measure approximately 25" x 22' and are available in the green, red and blue M & M characters.

Other decorations available for your party include cardboard stand ups, party garland, party lights and plan & peanut stand up decorations.

You could purchase an M & M Calendar and use the photos in it to make fun and inexpensive birthday party decorations.

Cut out the month photos and hang them around the party room.

You could also punch two holes on the top of each image run string through it to create your own custom party banner.

There are many calendars on the market that are full of lots of colorful M & M images. This will add a great look to your party decor.

For your M & M birthday cake, there are so many fun designs you could create.

First of all, you could bake any size cake or cupcakes and top with colorful M & M's. You could place the M & M's on in a random pattern or cover the entire cake with candy. Another idea would be to write out the birthday child's name and/or age with M & M's.

There are also M & M figures that would make a great addition to your birthday cake. You could decorate the cake with M & M's and then top with the figures.

To add a personalized touch to your birthday cake, you can purchase M & M edible cake toppers. These cake toppers are available in so many fun designs.

The yellow character M & M cake pictured here is a Carvel cake. I am not sure if they still offer this cake design at Carvel. If you want to make your own peanut M & M cake, you could bake a cake in an oval cake pan. Then, either make a face on the cake or the 'M' logo. You can do this using black and white icing or fondant. If you want to make a plain M & M cake, you could do the same thing except you would use a round cake pan.

For cupcakes, decorate cupcakes with red/blue/orange/green fondant or icing for the characters and add the 'M' logo with white icing or fondant.

Paper cupcake toppers are the latest trend in cupcake decorating. You can make your own cupcake toppers using the pre-cut images listed here.

These 1" M & M circle images feature bright vivid colors printed on high gloss premium HP photo paper. Simply matte the circles onto heavy cardstock paper and punch out the circle using a 1.5" or 2" round or scalloped paper punch. Attach a lollipop stick to the finished image and insert into your decorated cupcakes.

Pin the M & M Game: You can draw or print out lots of M & M images. Randomly attach the images or draw them onto a large poster board. Leave one M & M off. Print out or draw an M & M image for each of the party guests. The kids have to try to Pin the M & M onto the board.

Guess How Many: Fill a clear jar with M & M's. When the guests first arrive at the party, they have to guess how many candies are in the jar. They secretly write the number on a piece of paper. At the end of the party, the number of candies in the jar is revealed and a winner is announced.

M & M Coloring Pages: You can print out M & M coloring pages online. I also found a retro M & M coloring book available for sale. Have the coloring pages out on the table with crayons when the guests first arrive.

M & M Candy Toss: You can play a take off on the popular carnival penny toss game. However, instead of tossing pennies, the kids will toss M & M's. You can use colorful bowls, plates or the M & M candy dish listed here. Set them all up on the floor and the kids can toss the candies trying to get them into the bowls and dishes.

Pinata Activity: Purchase a number pinata for your child's age. Print out or draw lots of M & M's onto heavy cardstock paper. Randomly attach the M & M's to the pinata with hot glue. Now you have a custom made pinata!

M & M Bean Bag Toss Game: Purchase a bunch of snack sized M & M candy bags. Place colorful pails on the floor and the kids can toss their "bean bags" into the pails.

Play M & M Twister: Game features a 54" x 72" playing mat and travel case with built in spinner.

M & M Hunt Game: The M & M Hunt Game is a scavenger-type treasure hunt which is a hit with party guests of all ages!
