Fisher Price Pixter Games

Fisher Price Pixter Games spark children's creativity and learning. The original Pixter Creativity system was in black and white. Later versions of the Pixter system featured full color. The Pixter systems contain many built-in activities, games and tools. You can also purchase additional software cartridges.

Some of the Pixter software cartridges available include many popular children's characters such as Dora the Explorer, Spongebob, Scooby Doo, Clifford, Disney, Arthur, Jimmy Neutron, Fairy Odd Parents and more. These Pixter games are categorized into three areas: Art Studio, Video and Learning. The software is geared to children ages 4-6 and up. Most of the learning games have an age range 4-8 and the other games have an age range of 4-12.

Even though the Pixter is a few years old, the system and games are still available for purchase and remain very popular.

The Pixter 2.0 is just like the original one, but with all-new features and exciting extras, including a wireless link to other Pixter 2.0s. Barbie Pixter ~ black and white
Barbie Pixter has many special features and includes Barbie Stampers, scene starters, and complete the Barbie pictures. It also includes music and features a wireless link to other Pixter 2.0 systems. It's also easy to receive pictures and messages, too. Features full screen animated effects over 52 different stamper designs.

COLOR Pixter ~ color
Mattel extends the Fisher-Price Pixter line with the Color Pixter, a handheld game system for kids ages 4 and up. The Color Pixter looks similar to the original, except for its rounded shape and brightly colored screen; it has a tethered stylus that kids use to tap and write on the screen.

Pixter Multi-Media System ~ color

Pixter's Video software plays short videos and also enables children to create their own art projects. Kids can draw freely on the unit's screen using a wide variety of digital artist's tools. The games even let kids take snippets of videos and shuffle them to create new videos.   All of these Pixter games are in color.

Pixter's Art Studio software allows children to perform a variety of creative projects. For instance, the Disney Cars software enables kids to customize cars in Ramone's Body Shop and with the Scooby Doo software kids can create their own creepy villains and Scooby-Doo scrapbook scenes.  All of these Pixter games are in color.

If you are purchasing a used Pixter cartridge and are unsure if it is a color or black and white game, look at the photos to the right.

The first photo is a black and white Pixter cartridge and the second photo is a color cartridge. You can see the difference in the opening and on the front of the cartridge.

Also, as I mentioned above, black and white Pixter cartridges can be played on the newer Pixter color systems when used with an adapter.  They will still play in black and white, but you can play them.  However, Pixter color cartridges cannot be played on the older black and white Pixter systems.

It's real digital camera that plugs into your Color Pixter system so you can take, custom-create and save up to 10 digital pictures in your Pixter photo album. It's easy to do, and tons of fun too. And it's exclusively for use with the Pixter Color system.

Pixter Color Digital Camera features: Pixter camera ROM attaches to the top of Pixter Color just like any Pixter ROM Kids can see the image that the camera sees right on their Pixter screen - then by simply touching the screen the images is captured. Images can then be drawn on, put in picture frames, looked at through filters, and much more.
