Club Penguin is a very popular online game site. It is a place where penguins and puffles come to play and kids to meet up with their real friends in a fun virtual world. If your child is a big fan, a Club Penguin party would make the perfect theme for their next birthday celebration.

This adorable birthday cake was created by Johanna from the Green Gourmet Giraffe.

First Johanna baked the cake in an 11" x 7" baking tray. Then she drew the penguin picture onto a sheet of paper. She placed the finished drawing on the baked cake and used a skewer to poke the penguin design onto the cake. Using a sharp knife, she trimmed the edges to get the penguin shape.

Jenafer from Cage Free Monkeys made these fun Puffle cake and cupcakes.

The Puffle Round Up cake is based on the popular online game. Jenafer used Kit Kats to create the corral, frosted Munchkins to make the Puffles and a star tip for their hair. The gold coins were made using butterscotch disc candies.

I recently made paper Club Penguin cupcake toppers for my daughter's birthday. I made two different kinds of toppers. One was for her family birthday celebration and the other was for the birthday cupcakes she brought to school.

Paper cupcake toppers are very simple to make, but look great on your finished cupcakes.

An Igloo cake would make be a great idea for your birthday party.

Another option would be to purchase an Igloo cake pan. There are Igloo pans available from Martha Stewart, Nordic Ware and Williams Sonoma.

Once your Igloo cake is completed, you can then decorate it with penguins. You can mold penguins out of fondant or gumpaste. You could also use the Club Penguin cake topper figures listed above to decorate your Igloo birthday cake.

The 1988 Wilton Yearbook contains the recipe for the fun Penguin party cake you see pictured here. This cake would be adorable for your birthday party. The decorating tips needed to create the Penguins: Tip 12 for the body, Tip 3 for the head and wings & Tip 1 for eyes.

Another idea would be decorate your Igloo cake with the Club Penguin figures/cake toppers listed above. This would really pull the theme into your finished birthday cake.
